Yoga

I’ve been practicing yoga for over thirty years and began teaching in 2006. For the first twenty of my practice, I lived in places where I was unable to study with a teacher, so I read books and practiced yoga, in part to support my athletic endeavors. When I started studying with teachers, however, I began to understand that yoga was much more than a physical practice and that it had, in fact, been nurturing my life on a deeper level all along. I have completed teacher trainings with Lynn Minton in Anchorage, AK and with Sarahjoy Marsh in Portland, OR. Currently, I study with Todd Jackson in Portland focusing on “inner body yoga”.

When I teach yoga, I want to plant seeds that empower people to learn more about their own body and to connect to it in both obvious and subtle ways. I invite students to bring that deeper knowledge into the way they move their bodies throughout their daily lives. 

Yoga classes will be M, T, W, TH, F on zoom.

 All classes will be recorded and the library of recordings made available.

Friday              11:00 am          Gentle/Chair Yoga

All classes are 75 minutes in length.

 Strength and Conditioning: we may use theraband, swiss ball, foam roller, yoga props (blankets, blocks, mat)

Unlimited classes:        $130/month

8 classes/month          $100

4 classes/month          $60
